Legacy Renewal Unity...AND Missions

Metropolitan Sotirios of Korea

I think it’s wonderful that you are expanding the Church's boundaries,” remarked Lydia Volaitis, an attendee from Massachusetts (shown on the far-left side), upon learning about the work of OCMC at the 46th Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

The Orthodox Christian Mission Center began as a missions committee of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and for decades, as part of the Church’s legacy in the United States, has been helping the faithful of all Orthodox jurisdictions answer their call to share the Faith.

There remains, however, so many opportunities for people to learn more about serving as a living witness of Christ’s love through missions. This is why being present at conferences like the Greek Orthodox Clergy-Laity Congress is such a blessing!

This week, representatives from OCMC have been able to share their experiences in missions and invite others to participate in this vital ministry of the Church.

Opportunities like these help make the Orthodox missions movement continue to grow – following in the footsteps of others who have welcomed thousands of people in dozens of countries into the Body of Christ.
