OCMC Projects

Making Disciples of all nations

Christ’s love is for the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. The Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC) facilitates many projects around the world that support and strengthen local churches and minster to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. In the 2021-2022 fiscal year, OCMC distributed more than $800,000 to projects in 21 countries in Africa, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

These projects include water wells, support to orphanages and schools, evangelism and catechetical projects, seminary construction and tuition support, church construction and renovation, emergency food distributions, agricultural activities to support the livelihoods of those in poverty, and income-generating projects that will help Orthodox Dioceses become financially self-sustaining.

In 2022-’23, OCMC is actively working with Church partners in Africa, Central America, and Eastern Europe to support more than 10 projects, including the construction of seminaries in Guatemala and Cameroon, an income-generating beekeeping project in western Kenya, and vocational training for youth in Uganda.
