9 Days Left in Support A Mission Priest (SAMP) Month

Every month OCMC supports mission priests throughout the world and designates October as Support a Mission Priest (SAMP) Month! These priests  constantly strive to share the Gospel of Christ - but they can’t do it without our help. We have only 9 days left in SAMP Month, and we need your help to raise $3,600!

Meet three of the clergy supported by the SAMP program:

Fr. Nektarios Paul Makoza

Zimbabwe

Fr. Nektarios was born in 1987 in Mutoko. From 2007-2010, he studied at the Makarios III Patriarchal Seminary in Nairobi, Kenya, and then returned to Zimbabwe. He was ordained to the diaconate in 2010, to the priesthood in 2012, and he currently serves the parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov in Snake Park.

Through the SAMP program, OCMC supports over 350 priests in over 16 countries worldwide. That means, if we reach our goal, we’ll have enough to support SIX mission priests for an entire year!

Your prayers and support will help clergy like these continue focusing on their ministries and on cultivating their flock in the Church. Click below to help us reach our goal!
