Every month OCMC supports mission priests throughout the world and designates October as Support a Mission Priest (SAMP) Month! These priests constantly strive to share the Gospel of Christ - but they can’t do it without our help. We have only 9 days left in SAMP Month, and we need your help to raise $3,600!
Meet three of the clergy supported by the SAMP program:
Fr. Nektarios Paul Makoza
Fr. Nektarios was born in 1987 in Mutoko. From 2007-2010, he studied at the Makarios III Patriarchal Seminary in Nairobi, Kenya, and then returned to Zimbabwe. He was ordained to the diaconate in 2010, to the priesthood in 2012, and he currently serves the parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov in Snake Park.
Fr. Antoine Kasongo
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Fr. Antoine was born in 1986 in Katala. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2010, and currently serves 8 parishes.
Dn. Ezekiel Chubuike Amarachi
Dn. Ezekiel was born in 1988, and pursued an education in Mass Communication and Media. He was ordained to the diaconate in 2018, and has since served as Hierodeacon to His Eminence Metropolitan Alexander at the Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Lagos.
Through the SAMP program, OCMC supports over 350 priests in over 16 countries worldwide. That means, if we reach our goal, we’ll have enough to support SIX mission priests for an entire year!
Your prayers and support will help clergy like these continue focusing on their ministries and on cultivating their flock in the Church. Click below to help us reach our goal!
