2018 Albania Missions Tour Team

Traveling From: 9/29/2018 to 10/6/2018; Team Cost: $2945*

Albania, known as the land of the eagle, is a country of majestic mountains, rural countryside, rich culture, and warm hospitality. In 1944, though, this beautiful Balkan country fell under a harsh Communist regime and suffered the most severe religious persecution of the 20th century.

With the coming of religious freedom after centuries of Ottoman presence and decades of Communist rule, the Church has made a remarkable turnaround. Under the leadership of His Beatitude Archbishop ANASTASIOS of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania, along with the help of OCMC missionaries, the Orthodox Church in Albania is resurrected.

The Albania Missions Tour is your opportunity to experience the power of the resurrected Church and the impact Orthodox missions has had in this beautiful country.

Prayer for Missions

God of truth and love: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Hear our prayer for those who do not know You. That they may come to a saving knowledge of the truth, and that Your Name may be praised among all peoples of the world. Sustain, inspire, and enlighten Your servants who bring them the Gospel. Bring fresh vigor to wavering faith; sustain our faith when it is still fragile. Continually renew missionary zeal in ourselves and in the Church, and raise up new missionaries who will follow You to the ends of the world. Make us witnesses to Your goodness full of love, full of strength, and full of faith for Your glory and the salvation of the entire world. Through the prayers of all the missionary saints, Have mercy on us and save us. Amen.
