Every year, OCMC dedicates October to supporting priests worldwide through our Support a Mission Priest (SAMP) program.

This year, we want to raise $6,000 to support 10 mission priests for an entire year!
Despite all the challenges they face, indigenous priests in the mission field continue striving to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with their communities. SAMP gives us the opportunity to partner with them, and offer our support to their ministries! Please consider even a small donation to help us reach our goal. Every donation helps!

Fr. Dimitrios Das
Fr. Dimitrios Das was born on July 8, 1958. He was ordained to the holy priesthood in 1997. He serves the parish of St. Nektarios in the province of West Bengal, under the omophorion of His Eminence KONSTANTINOS, Metropolitan of Singapore.
Fr. Marcel Dayang
Fr. Marcel Dayang was born in 1974 and raised in the Roman Catholic faith. He embraced Orthodoxy as a young adult and was ordained to the priesthood in 2004. He serves the Three Hierarchs parish in northern Cameroon, under the omophorion of His Eminence GREGORIOS, Metropolitan of Cameroon.
Fr. Nicholas Bayego
Fr. Nicholas Bayego was born on April 26, 1956. He studied at Holy Cross Orthodox School of Theology as well as Suffolk University in Massachusetts. He serves the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Kampala.
Fr. Theodoros Manovasoa
Fr. Theodoros Manovasoa was born on February 17, 1986, in the town of Ihosy. He currently serves two parishes, St. George in Ihosy and St. Gerasimos in Ampataka, under the omophorion of His Grace PRODROMOS, Bishop of Toliara and Southern Madagascar.
Support a Mission Priest:
Every day, indigenous priests in the mission field follow in the footsteps of the apostles, spreading the message of Christ's love where people hunger for the peace and truth of the Orthodox Faith. Many are responsible for presenting the Gospel to people for the very first time. Many pastor several communities. Many are seen as THE source for help in times of need. And, many have families of their own.
The Support a Mission Priest Program (SAMP) of OCMC provides a subsidy to help these priests share the Faith, care for their communities, and provide for their families. For just $600 ($50 per month) churches, organizations, and people like you can support a priest serving in the mission field for an entire year by helping to subsidize his income!
