S eminarians and theological students interested in sharing in a journey of faith are given the opportunity to broaden horizons, strengthen leadership skills, and develop a vision for the needs of the world by sharing the Gospel with those of a different culture through OCMC Mission Team Endowment Grants. As Team members build schools and clinics, teach catechism classes, and evangelize those who hunger and thirst for truth, they serve as a living witness to the love of Christ.Applicants must have completed at least one semester in theological studies at the time of application, be in good standing academically; have demonstrated church involvement; and be eligible to participate on an Orthodox Mission Team in 2010. OCMC Orthodox Mission Team Grant recipients will be applying for the following: - Four (4) Grants up to $2,700 towards the cost of joining a Mission Team and a $900 cash stipend upon the recipient’s return from service and the submission of a written report, along with photographs, of the recipient’s mission experience
- One (1) Grant up to $1,200 towards the cost of joining a Mission Team and a $400 stipend upon the recipient’s return from service and the submission of a written report, along with photographs, of the recipient’s mission experience.

- Provide additional reference from academic advisor or spiritual father (form can be downloaded at the end of the online application or by clicking here)
- Write a 250-500 word essay that answers the following:
- Why are foreign missions important for the Church today? - How do you see this experience benefiting your future involvement in the Church, your life and your career? - Submit completed application, references (2) and essay to the Mission Center
