What is Expected of an Ambassador?
I
t is our joy and honor as Orthodox Christians share the Light of Christ with the world, but everyone must have a hand in this life saving work. As an OCMC Ambassador, you will carry Christ?s call to missions to the Orthodox faithful of North America so that they may find their place in the missions movement. As an OCMC Ambassador you will help broaden an awareness of Orthodox missions within your community by:
Distributing and posting OCMC materials to the parish as they are sent.
Providing OCMC announcements for the Church Bulletin.
Hosting OCMC fundraising/awareness events or inviting an OCMC representative to speak.
Praying for the work of missions and OCMC Missionaries serving abroad.
OCMC works with you by sending you materials immediately after you become an Ambassador. Our dedicated staff is committed to helping you to coordinate events and by providing news from OCMC's programs.
