Fr. George P Liacopulos

Father George Liacopulos serves as the priest at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Egg Harbor Township, NJ and he has served on the OCMC mission board since 1992, including six years as board president and six years as board secretary. Father George has led mission trips to South Korea, Alaska, and Mexico and has taught courses on Mission and Evangelism at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and at St Vladimir's Theological School. For several years, he taught a course on Early Christianity at Richard Stockton University. He has published two books and a few scholarly articles.
He completed his B.A. in Religion at Bates College, his M.Div. at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and his Ph.D. at Princeton Theological Seminary in the Mission, Ecumenics, and History of Religion Program. In 1990, he was a co-founder of the Society for the Study of Eastern Orthodoxy and Evangelicalism. Father George and Presvytera Voula have two sons: Peter and John who are both college students.
